LEARN @ New Hope!

Many of us have made a new year's resolutions to draw closer to the Lord, but how do meet this goal? One of the best ways to draw closer to the Lord is to learn more about Him. Here at New Hope we have a variety of classes to help you to grow spiritually and make some new friends along the way.

Coming Up

New Believers Class, Begins Sunday, April 11 at 8:30am for 7 weeks at Farrington room 243. Through practical teaching and discussion, participants will travel through the book of Matthew over 7 weeks and learn core elements of their Christian faith.

Women in the Word, "Family Matters", Begins Tuesday, April 13, 6:30pm at the Ministry Center. Tackling difficult issues that both single and married women struggle with, such as dealing with our emotions, understanding men, breaking the power of generational sin, improving communication, raising children for Jesus, rebuilding after loss, and aging gracefully.

Managing Our Finances God's Way, Begins Wednesday, April 14, 6:30pm for 6 weeks in the Ministry Center. The Bible is packed with wise counsel about your financial life. In fact, Jesus had more to say about money than about heaven and hell combined.

Growing Deep, Growing Strong, On Saturday, April 24 at 8:30am at the Ministry Center, Salvation, Spiritual growth, Stewardship, Spiritual gifts andÊSending forth - the New Hope WAY!! At the end of the class you'll have the opportunity to become an official New Hope O`ahu member.

Crazy Love, Begins Sunday, April 25 at 11am at Farrington room 242. This 10-week course is designed to engage, challenge, and stir your spirit regarding what it means to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

On-Going

Experiencing God, Offered twice a year (February & August) in the Farrington Library. This class will help you build the strong love relationship with the Lord that brings purpose and fulfillment to your life and fills you with joy and contentment.

Purpose Driven Life, Offered twice a year (February & August) for 7 weeks. You will embark on a 40-day journey that will reveal why you are here on earth and how to live a lifestyle based on Biblical purposes that are God pleasing.

LifeChange, A 12-week course offered twice a year (February & August) at the Lead Center. This program will deepen your relationship with Jesus through practical teaching, discipleship, discussions and prayer.

Journaling Workshop, Once a month at Farrington 
Discover your personal hidden treasures in God's Word.

Bible Basics, 8-week course, offered twice a year at Farrington. This course will take you through the book of Genesis and give you insight on how to use the Word of God more effectively in your life.

Truth Project, 13-week course, offered twice a year at the Ministry Center. Explore how the Christian worldview contrasts with the secular worldview.

The New Eve, Begins in September at the Ministry Center. This course gives 21st century women a clear path for living out a bold faith that's just as unique and meaningful as they are.

Bible Training Centre

The Bible Training Centre for Pastors has a 520 hour curriculum on Biblical training that can be taught in the field. It consists of 10 courses and is available in 20 languages.

Summary

There are over 2,000,000 untrained pastors around the world attempting to lead local churches. BTCP, with its unique approach and comprehensive curriculum, provides a practical means by which large numbers of these pastors and Church leaders can be trained.

Blue Letter Bible Institute

Welcome to the Blue Letter Bible Institute

We want to take this opportunity to welcome you to BLBi and to explain a bit of the vision for this website.

The Vision

Have you ever wanted to attend Bible college, but for various reasons were not able to do so. You wanted to study theology at a level that comes with a Bible college curriculum, but you did not want to enroll and take tests and write papers because you were not interested as much in the "paper degree" as in the opportunity for increased learning. Or, maybe you lived in an area that did not have a local Bible college, or your schedule would not permit attending such a course of study. We believed that there were many people in the Body of Christ that fit within those or similar situations.

With that in mind, Blue Letter Bible, began developing BLBi. While in development BLBi was able to integrate certain aspects of the existing Net Bible Institute which was already in operation. We began a co-laboring effort with other ministries, teachers, and Bible colleges to provide courses online which are identical to courses being taught as part of Bible college curriculums, Bible conferences and seminars.

The Implementation

On February 24, 2003 the BLBi was launched (initially with the name Net Bible Institute). At inception we started with two courses, but the response was amazing. Today we have 36,291 students in the Institute from over 179 countries around the world. There are now 10 courses available for study. It is truly a global classroom for the study of God's Word, without the constraints of location, schedule or deadlines.

We pray that BLBi will be a complete course of study about what Christianity believes and teaches. The Blue Letter Bible Institute, when eventually completed, will consist of courses that will cover several major areas of Christian belief and practice. A separate textbook or audio program will be prepared for each individual course. These tools are produced as educational tools explaining what Christians believe and why they believe it. Each course in the program is designed to be used for either self-study, home Bible study, or for the classroom. It is our goal to make the Blue Letter Bible Institute the most comprehensive course of study possible.

The Cost

At this time there are no required fees to students. However, it is not free! Sowing Circle is a non-profit organization. We are totally dependent upon the generous gifts from those who are blessed by this ministry, as well as those who have a similar vision to reach a dying world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. The Church

We are not a substitute for the church. If you are able to attend a class at your local church, a Bible institute, Bible college, or some other type of Christian training center, then, by all means, do so. We are here to supplement the church. Many people are unable to attend Bible classes or Bible school. We hope to fill the need for those who want a thorough biblical education but cannot, for whatever reason, attend classes. We are presently working with churches and Bible colleges to incorporate BLBi's course of study into their own program and their material into BLBi.
